Tell Me Now

Sad but it's true
For months I've been thinking
There will never be true equality in this world

No one can choose
Where to be born nor where to be raised
Even our ways of thinking differ too

You always say “just give it time”
But those words have nothing inside

And so please, won't you tell me now?
Will someone ever come around to save us,
like some hero in the movies?
When I get crushed down with sadness
and my eyes can't see what's ahead
who am I gonna have to rely on?

Tell me now

Sorry, my heart has no room to feel joy finding tiny happiness

as the sky and the ocean won't
ever meet there ought to be some kind of a beauty
when things never cross at all
And you see?
Some things will have a meaning when they exist apart
No need to force to live with each other

So please don't say any hollow words anymore
And everyone I meet I'll value within me
Gather and rounding up seems like a joke to me
Only to satisfy yourself

Don't tell me more words that sound naive
